Take your time to explore the breathtaking northern cliffs, little bays and fishing ports, including the harbour at Bouley Bay, popular for scuba diving, and world famous Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. To the south enjoy the long sweep of St. Aubin's bay and St Helier, Jersey's vibrant main town and seat of government with its shopping, entertainment and nightlife. Alongside charming gardens and 16th century castle, St Helier has great restaurants, art exhibitions and annual festivals. To the west are the tranquil nature reserve of the western shores for bird watching and wild flowers; superb golf courses are found in the centre and on Jersey's east coast don't miss the imposing medieval Mont Orgueil Castle and boat trips to Ecréhous reef.  From surfing to arts and crafts, history and unspoilt countryside, Jersey is hard to beat.

Find out more about Guernsey...
Just 30 miles off the French coast in the Bay of St Malo, Guernsey, offers a wealth of things to do and see; hiring a car is a great way to take in all it has to offer.  The historic main town is Saint Peter Port with its deep harbour, a safe haven for ships for centuries and mix of Regency, Georgian, terraced and winding alley ways that mark it out as one of the Channel Island’s most picturesque ports.  The shopping too is excellent, as is the al fresco dining and diverse range of eateries and annual festivals.

Rich in history there is plenty to explore including Castle Cornet, constructed to repel French invasion. Today, the castle is home to Guernsey’s top museums and seasonal events.  Take a look at Victor Hugo’s home during his exile on the island, discover echoes of German occupation during World War II, sub-tropical gardens and the sculpture park in St Martins in the south.

Guernsey’s spectacular coastline is perfect for breathtaking views, hidden coves and bays.  Sailing, surfing, walking, there’s lots of outdoor and indoor activities whatever the weather and the best way is to unfold your  map and set out on your very own Channel Island adventure.
